Dubai: Ideal Place For Tourism In The Middle East

Good evening folks! Today I will be talking about Dubai, a city with which I have a very personal connection as I have lived there for 4 years and spent the best years of my life. Well that was it about my life in Dubai because I am definitely not going to bore you people with what all I did in Dubai in those 4 years. I will rather share with you why Dubai is an ideal destination for tourism. Let’s start with a small introduction of Dubai Tourism.

Tourism in Dubai is an important part of the Dubai government’s strategy to maintain the flow of foreign cash into their country. The main income from tourists is from shopping and various other old and modern historical places to visit. Before we move any further, we must know one thing about Dubai which is of utmost importance. The stringent Islamic laws in Dubai are to be always followed and if any citizen or tourist does not abide by it, He/she is most likely to get a fine or even a strict punishment. Dubai laws are very rigid. The most important feature of this is seen during the Ramadan Kareem (Eid) when you are not allowed to eat in public from morning till 7 pm.

Now let’s have a look at the Dubai tourism. Trust me there is a lot.

1. Accommodation:

You must have heard this general notion – “Dubai is an expensive city”. Yes it is true that the standard of living is very high and expensive over there. So it is pretty obvious that the hotels will be expensive there. But that doesn’t mean that you have to think twice before booking a hotel there. The services and facilities in a 4- star hotel give you a feel of no less than a 5- star hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and full of luxury.

2. Transportation:

Transportation can never be a problem in Dubai. Dubai has a population which is not as much as our metro cities but still it has a huge network of buses and metro trains. Road Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has made it very easy for the tourists by launching attractive tourist buses in addition to the already existing city buses. To enjoy the scenic beauty of Dubai at a comparatively lower cost, Dubai Metro is the best option.

3. Shopping in Dubai:

For Indians, Dubai is an ideal place for shopping. With so many Indians already settled in Dubai for a long time now, the Indian culture has been spread over a wide range in Dubai. There are places in Dubai such as Bur Dubai and Karama which is an ideal place for Indians.

Moving on to the malls, a person in Dubai can easily spend his one full day in any mall in Dubai and if you are going to Dubai mall and wish to see it completely, reserve your two days for it because it is the largest mall in the world.

Here is a small list of Malls in Dubai:

  • Dubai Mall
  • Mall of the Emirates
  • Deira City Centre
  • Mirdiff City Centre
  • Dubai Festival City
  • Burjuman

And many more…

4. The Main Attractions of Dubai:

  • BURJ KHALIFA: The tallest man-made skyscraper in the world, Burj Khalifa is 829.8 m tall situated adjacent to the Dubai Mall. As a tourist attraction, it has At the Top Burj Khalifa which gives you access to the 124th floor from where you can do complete sightseeing.

  • THE ATLANTIS: It’s a resort which is situated on the palm islands. It really lure a huge amount of tourists with its attractive locations and brand name. It has everything which a tourist wants, a monorail which takes you till the atlantis, water park, hotels, restaurants.

  • DESERT SAFARI: For an adventurous person, this is the perfect place to be. Desert Safari of Dubai means, crazy driving in a land cruiser on the sand dunes in a desert, enjoying the exotic arabic culture with the meals, the cabret dances, and many more fun things related to the Arabic culture.
  • JUMEIRAH BEACH RESORT: A fascinating beach resort on the palm islands, JBR is one of the most attractive tourist locations in Dubai. It has the perfect atmosphere of a beach with people from different nationalities chilling there, paragliding and para sailing is often seen in the day time and in the evening you can enjoy the soothing breeze of the sea.

CONCLUSION:

Dubai is a place where, in my opinion, one should definitely go in his/her lifetime. It’s the perfect tourist spot anyone can ask for. It has got everything that a tourist wants. Shopping, Travelling, Adventures, Sightseeing, beaches, it has got everything and if we talk about the nightlife, it’s one of the best in this whole world. People of many nationalities live here which bring here their rich culture and it gets mixed with other cultures. Hence we can also say that it is a city of multiculturalism too. Apart from that, the city is very clean and the traffic and pollution is well managed. You can easily get fascinated at any roadside here as cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, mustang etc. are very common. In short a person can never regret his decision of spending money on Dubai Tourism.
